Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. They are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds, and they are graded by the same laboratories on the same 4Cs. The only difference is where the crystal grew, and that is disclosed on every certificate.

Why are your prices so far below Blue Nile or Brilliant Earth?

Because we are a manufacturer, not a retailer. We buy from the same wholesale lists the trade uses and add one fixed margin. There is no showroom, no sales floor and no advertising budget built into the stone. Compare the same IGI report number anywhere you like.

Do lab-grown diamonds hold their value?

Honestly: don't buy one as an investment. Wholesale prices have fallen for years and may keep falling, which is exactly why a stone that cost thousands a few years ago now costs hundreds. Buy it for the ring, and put what you save into a mount you will wear for decades. That is what lasts.

Our white-diamond inventory is IGI-graded, the laboratory that grades most lab-grown diamonds sold worldwide, and every stone links to its report. GIA-graded stones can be sourced on request.

Can I see the stone before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many stones have 360° video, any stone can be viewed in person at 36 West 47th Street by appointment, and every loose diamond carries a 30-day return.

How long does a custom ring take?

Typically two to four weeks from the approved render. Rush service is available. You receive the delivery date in writing before production begins.

Can you set a diamond I already own?

Accepted Answer

Yes — lab-grown or natural, in a new design or a re-set of an existing ring.

Do you ship outside New York?

Yes, fully insured, anywhere in the United States. International shipping is available on request.

What if the finished ring doesn't look like the render?

We remake it at no cost. You approve the render before we cast, and the render is the contract.
